NFL+ buying guide

What NFL+ costs

The NFL support center lists four plans: NFL+ at $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year, and NFL+ Premium at $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year, plus applicable taxes. Prices are as posted on support.nfl.com on October 8, 2026, and the NFL says they are subject to change and may vary by promotion.

The annual plans cost less than about seven months of the monthly plans. The NFL describes some annual plans as "per season", but its subscription terms say an annual plan runs for one year from the start date and renews on that anniversary at the then-current full price. You get at least 30 days' notice before a yearly renewal. The NFL says subscribing through a third party such as Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or PayPal may add fees.

NFL+ Premium gift cards are sold through TAPPP at $14.99 for one month and $99.99 for one year. Gift subscriptions end when the period is over and do not auto-renew.

How to claim a NFL+ offer

Coupon codes go in the "Redeem Coupon" field at checkout on NFL.com before you complete the purchase. Existing subscribers can redeem a code from the Manage option on their plan page. Most NFL promotions are limited to certain groups. The "30% off for 3 months" deal running in October 2026 is for former subscribers only, works only on monthly plans, and can only be redeemed in the NFL app on iOS. The DraftKings free month of Premium excludes current subscribers.

After any free or discounted period, the plan renews at the then-current full price unless you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access to the end of the paid period, but the NFL's terms say payments are nonrefundable and there are no credits for partial periods. Its support pages list duplicate purchases and serious ongoing technical problems as grounds for a refund request. If you subscribed through Apple, Google, Roku or Amazon, you cancel and request refunds through that store, not the NFL.

When NFL+ runs its best deals

The NFL's own support pages show a few repeat patterns. Win-back offers target lapsed subscribers, such as a "30% off for 3 months" iOS offer for former subscribers that runs until October 27, 2026. Partner offers appear too, such as one month of NFL+ Premium free through DraftKings for new and former subscribers, and NFL+ Premium bundled with Disney+ or ESPN.

Standing discounts exist for military members and first responders (verified through ID.me) and for team season ticket members. The NFL does not publish a sale calendar, and no standing free trial is described on its pages.

Is NFL+ worth it?

NFL+ suits U.S. fans who mainly want their local and primetime games on a phone or tablet, NFL Network, and live radio calls, at $49.99 a year. NFL+ Premium is the better buy for fans who want RedZone on Sunday afternoons or like to rewatch games: condensed replays run under 45 minutes, and replays and RedZone work on TVs.

It is a poor fit if you want to watch live regular season games on a TV through NFL+, since those are limited to phones and tablets. It does not include NFL Sunday Ticket, which is sold through YouTube and YouTube TV, so it will not give you every out-of-market game live. It is not available outside the 50 states and D.C., including U.S. territories; fans abroad are pointed to NFL Game Pass on DAZN.

About NFL+ offers

NFL+ is the official streaming service of the National Football League, offering live local and primetime games, replays, and exclusive content. Subscribers can watch games on mobile devices, access NFL Network, and enjoy on-demand programming anytime, anywhere. With flexible viewing options and comprehensive coverage, NFL+ brings fans closer to the action throughout the entire football season.

NFL+ is the NFL's own streaming subscription in the United States, sold through NFL.com and the NFL app. It replaced the U.S. version of NFL Game Pass in 2022. The base plan streams live local and primetime regular season and playoff games on phones and tablets, plus NFL Network, live audio of every game and out-of-market preseason games. NFL+ Premium adds NFL RedZone, NFL Pro and full, condensed and All-22 coaches film replays that play on TVs and other supported devices.

Savings on NFL+ mostly come from paying yearly instead of monthly, and from the NFL's own promotions: win-back discounts for former subscribers, partner offers, and military and first responder codes through ID.me. The offers listed here come from the NFL+ affiliate feed and are re-checked against it daily. Each one links to its own terms.
