Shipt promo codes and deals

On October 7, 2026, Shipt listed two membership plans: $10.99 a month or $99 a year (about $8.25 a month). Both bill after a 14-day free trial. Shipt notes that membership fees can vary by market. Students with a .edu email pay $4.99 a month for up to four years, then $10.99. SNAP EBT recipients also pay $4.99 a month.

Members pay $0 delivery on orders of $35 or more and a $7 fee on smaller orders. Orders with alcohol may carry a $7 alcohol fee. Service fees may still apply and vary by retailer and location. Without a membership, a one-time order carries a service fee plus a delivery fee, which Shipt says totals $10. Its terms say this fee varies by location.

Item prices usually run higher than in the store. Shipt's own example is a loaf of Wonderbread at $2.29 in store and $2.59 on Shipt. It estimates about $5 extra on a $35 order. Target Circle 360 members get in-store pricing (alcohol excluded) through December 2026. Tips are optional and go 100% to the shopper. At checkout, Shipt may place a hold on your card of up to $50 above the order total. The unused part is refunded automatically.

The 14-day free trial is for new customers only. Returning customers are not eligible. Pick the monthly or annual plan when you sign up. If you don't cancel before day 14, the trial renews into that plan at the standard rate. Shipt also has a field for membership promo codes on its pricing page.

To cancel, go to Account, then Shipt Membership Profile, then How to cancel my membership. You can also call (205) 259-7798 between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. CT. If you joined through Target, cancel in the Target app. Monthly fees are not refunded. Annual members can get a full refund only if they cancel in the first month, and returning members can't get one at all. Promotional credits expire three months after they are issued, and only one cart discount works per order.

Shipt's standing offer is the 14-day free trial for new customers. The $4.99 student and SNAP memberships run year-round for people who qualify. Shipt also sells 6- and 12-month gift memberships, which only new subscribers can redeem. Inside the app, members get store-level deals that change week to week. Shipt's own pages do not show a regular seasonal sale on memberships.

Shipt makes sense if you order groceries or household items for delivery at least twice a month and usually spend $35 or more. A $10.99 membership costs about the same as one $10 non-member order, and the annual plan brings it to about $8.25 a month. Students and SNAP recipients pay less at $4.99 a month.

It suits you less if you order rarely, keep baskets under $35, or watch item prices closely. Unless you have Target Circle 360, prices are marked up over in-store, about $5 on a $35 order by Shipt's own estimate. Add a tip and any service fee on top of that. If you already pay for Target Circle 360, it includes Shipt, so a separate membership doubles up.
